One PieceTracker

I wanted Journey Tracker to offer more context without making every episode row overwhelming. Movies and Music have a place in the experience, and the new display controls let you decide how much of that information you want to see.

Movies remain optional. Their watch history is separate from Anime and Manga progress. “Safe for me” uses continuous completed progress along with reviewed watchpoints. Nine movies current have reviewed anime boundaries. The remaining films are clearly marked as awaiting review. One Piece Movie Red comes to mind, with spoilers not revealed until Episode 1071, but other contextual spoilers revealed Episode 1120. Meanwhile Red’s companion episodes were 1029 and 1030. For a new watcher catching up this could be an important boundary. What is considered safe?

The soundatrack information covers 29 openings and 23 endings. Official links are included where verified, rather than filling gaps with unofficial uploads. OP/ED visuals have not yet been reviewed for spoiler safety, so the song information is not a guarantee that the video is “safe to watch”.

Behind the scenes, Journey Tracker’s catalog loading (it was almost 7 seconds…sorry about that) and release update workflow have been improved. Existing progress remains intact and stored locally in your browser.

I’d like OPT to be the easiest place to answer 3 questions:

What just released? What comes next? Are we on a break?

There are sources that will have that answer based off the leaks and Scanlations. But OPT will be based off of official channels.

The manga signal now follows VIZ’s official English release schedule. This will keep chapter dates aligned with the canonical Sunday international release instead of displaying the Wiki’s Japanese magazine date. Weekly Shonen Jump will help confirm the publication cadence, while the One Piece wiki continues supplying chapter titles, mappings, and reference pages.

The Weekly Status Card now changes as the next release approaches. It can show “No Break”, “Break Next Week”, “Returns This Week”, a longer return window, or “Schedule Pending” when official data is unavailable.

The top summary now provides a clearer look at the current anime season. OPT counts the remaining official numbered episodes before the seasonal break and estimates which chapter the season may finish adapting. That chapter will remain hidden based on the users spoiler boundary unless “Spoiler Safe” is turned off.

The Future Estimator also received a small but useful improvement. Episode to Chapter now link directly to the chapters Wiki page.

These changed do not alter Journey Tracker progress, saved spoiler settings, or the existing lookup tools. They make OPT’s release information mroe transparent and easier to check at a glance. Hopefully.

The Journey Tracker is a separate beta experience alongside the existing OPT tools. It opens with spoiler protection enabled and uses neutral labels until your progress makes titles and names safe to reveal.

Progress is stored only in your current browser and can be exported or imported as JSON. The beta doesn’t require an account, and resetting tracker progress doesn’t change the separate spoiler boundary or calculators on the main OPT tool page.

The existing episode lookup, chapter, lookup, catch-up calculator, SBS Safe Reader, Adaption Gap, and Future Estimator remain separate and continue using their established live Wiki backed data sources. There are plans to expand this Journey (Episode/Manga) Tracker beyond just a trackable list so stay tuned. Though that update will require an account.

This update makes OPT more reliable during the current broadcast window. Official schedule rows now lead the tracker, while the One Piece Wiki remains the confirmation layer once aired episode and chapter metadata fills in.

The tracker still does not require an account. Spoiler boundary settings remain local to the browser.
